Best Companies To Work For In NH 2008
Business NH Magazine has been sponsoring the Best Companies To Work For In NH competition for 12 years, and for the past 8 years, Bruce Mast & Associates, Inc. has been actively involved organizing and facilitating the onsite visits to the 20 semi-finalist companies. During that time, BMA has also worked to:
- Create the Hall of Fame for organizations who have won for 5 or more years
- Introduce uniform assessment forms that establish the scoring criteria for the onsite visits
- Revise the format for the Breakfast with the Best that recognizes the winners
The semi-finalists come from all over the state, and BMA has to coordinate and schedule the visits to each organization in a very short period of time. The Assessment Teams spend 90 minutes at small companies and 2 hours at each of the larger companies conducting an interview with the CEO/President, meeting with an employee focus group, and touring the physical facility.
The Assessment Teams add their scores from each visit to those of the paper applications scored by the BNH staff for a final judging in mid-October. The winning companies are featured in the December issue of Business NH Magazine.
